1. Colour swatches for Cel-Vinyl colours from the Cartoon Color Company. 2. Filmation artwork of the USS Enterprise, with some colours specified. 3. Photo of Cel-Vinyl tubes. 4. Scan of a Cel-Vinyl leaflet. The swatches are on the reverse of this.

Various colours I have picked from a He-Man spec sheet and put into a palette based on values from a spreadsheet.

This evening I have been researching what paints animators used in the 70s, as you do. 🧵

I wanted to identify exactly what colours Filmation would have used in their TAS artwork. Seems like they used Cel-Vinyl, going by the codes used on spec sheets. I found a handy hex value spreadsheet too!
