I think he's ok, did a few great saves this season, but there were quite some points/games lost due to him messing something up.
If I were in charge, I would make him Nr. 2 for next season and sign a Korean GK as Nr. 1, cause if we want to play for the title next year we should get a better one.

Yeah, that's sadly typical for the J-League (mainly Japanese managers)... But most of our young players always stay for one year for training, then get loaned out and if they develop well, they come back and start getting minutes in, but now with the U21 league coming, maybe that could now change...

The problem with not many youngsters getting a chance is because we don't have that many who are that promising or currently ready for our 1st team IMO...
Next year there will be a U21 league, so I hope to see them playing there to get some experience and compete for a place in our 1st team that way

Wasn't meant as criticism, I'm just really impressed with Ito's season (especially compared to his entire career before ^^)

Yeah, that great save at the end of the game was nice and all, but we definitely concede way to many soft goals with him in goal (he's not the only one to blame when looking at our defense of course, but in general he's to blame for a decent amount of goals this season)

Erison has been incredible today, also delighted to see Miyagi score out of nowhere. Defense was not good again, but as long as we score a goal more than them, I don't really mind 😅

Sadly I was never particularly impressed with him (and his time with Vegalta didn't exactly change that feeling)
Our squad issues must be pretty dire for him to come back now... Maybe we shouldn't have loaned out both Yamauchi and Verhon🤔

Watched today's training video and wow there were not many players present 😶‍
At least Miyagi seems to be back in training after disappearing recently, but probably not fit enough for saturday...
I really hope we don't have to play against Nagoya with a completely decimated squad again 🫠

Would be nice if the team would communicate if something was up (I know J-League clubs rarely do so unfortunately, but still), cause now I'm stuck between "wow what an uninspiring performance" and "maybe something health related is going on in the team"...

I heard Miyagi was good for Nagasaki but the manager suddenly dropped him and his loan got cancelled...
Still remember him suddenly playing again for Montedio after being injured and he had some great performances in the last few league games, but then he got injured again and missed the playoffs 🫠

But I'm also quite shocked how many players we're loaning out and that many of them are not developing/playing at all (esp. Myogan and Einaga + Igarashi dropping from J2 to J3). Yamauchi now gone too, not sure if he comes back considering the above...

Only saw glimpses of the match and read comments from Frontale fans, but from what I've read/seen, it was a really bad performance that really reminded me of last year...
Also only scored 1 PK (Ozeki) from 4 attempts...

Like others mentioned, his views on the league in general are also terrible, I'm glad most of the J League community realized this now

Yamada was always a more "goal oriented" striker, but now he's just too obsessed with scoring a goal in the league again while still being in a slump, that we really suffer from his selfish decisions... Maybe trying to play Kanda with him could help?

Had absolutely no expectations for today, but was still disappointed with probably the worst "Hasebe era" performance so far (especially Wakizaka was unbelievably bad today, can't believe he played the full game...)

Thought Yamaguchi and the post saved us quite a bit in this game, could've definitely ended different if they scored earlier.
But delighted to see both Ozeki and Kanda score + Wakizaka's free-kick was amazing!

And the fact that Miyashiro scored two goals against us, while Yamada is struggling to keep the ball for more than 3 seconds makes it even worse...
Agree, Yamaguchi is way too unreliable, but I doubt Hasebe drops him anytime soon (and sadly Jung SR doesn't get younger)

Tactical things aside, I'm not a fan of Hasebe's timing with subs. Ozeki and Ito should have come in WAY sooner, especially Ozeki should get more than just 15 minutes every game. Also with Yamada's form, Kanda not even making the bench is ???

Tatsuya Ito is really an amazing player, never thought he would be this good. For me our best transfer since I've started watching Frontale 4 years ago.
