Haha I think they made that comment almost exactly, like 30yrs ago felt like yesterday. So I think that’s exactly what it was. The author also referred to himself as being in the second wave.

I’ve got an idea for a new mode of transportation. You get a square block, and then apply a rotational force. Once the block reaches the tipping point, the vehicle it is attached to will lurch forward. 🤯

I think those that cover games often have a different perspective and see beyond the bend in the road.

The issue is unless you have a very large and loyal audience or what you are saying feels true to the average person, no one is going to listen.

I think that’s everyone’s point, there is an objective metric for the 1 scale on BGG. Literally 2-10 are just your feelings on the game, 1 is something else.

“Clearly broken” and “defies description as a game” are fairly objective metrics.

However, he is more concerned with having easy measurements so that all of his displays will be uniform.

To the nearest inch, how long should Nightharrow make the back leg of the display to achieve his goal?

Given that leg length, what is the exact angle that the books will be displayed at?

He has decided that an angle between 70-75 degrees from horizontal will work well and that the back leg of the stand should attach 2” from where the base of the book will rest, and at a right angle.
