I had always wondered (until today!) if you still needed to use your turn signals if there's no other place you could be going; i.e., if you should signal right, even if turning right is your only option. Apparently, the answer is yes!

Let's normalize answering "hello" with "hello"... please don't ask "how are you?" if you don't actually care to hear the answer. My autistic self would thoroughly appreciate it!

Healthcare should not be a business. No profit-maximizing insurance company would EVER want to willingly pay for people's treatments. They only pay for the minimum they can legally get away with, all for the benefit of their dear stockholders. It's infuriating that most people accept this as normal!

Sure, allow all churches to participate freely in politics but, because if you're willing to act like a corporation you should be treated like one, take away their tax-exempt status first

Sure, allow political ads but, for the sake of truth in advertising, require them to fact check their claims first

Sure, allow congressional lobbying but, so corporate interests don't have outsized influence, require politicians to recuse from voting on bills they've receive private funding for first

I agree. I think what I'm suggesting might be an unattainable ideal, but even if we could do it, the line between good-faith content moderation and censorship in a police state is very fine. I wouldn't know how to do it myself.
