Tom Noonan as Francis Dolarhyde in Manhunter
Oh, man. Tom Noonan died? His performance as Francis Dolarhyde in Manhunter is one of the most terrifying, mesmerizing I've ever seen in a film.

18.02.2026 02:33 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Spoke to a promising rural high school student today about the prospect of going to University and they were straight up:
'I can't afford it.'
'The fees? Or living out of home?'
'Both.'
It's been a remarkable, bipartisan effort to destroy the pathways people like me took into tertiary study.

17.02.2026 23:53 โ ๐ 6 ๐ 2 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Vile statement from Australian PM Albanese: "My mother would have said if you make your bed, you lie in it,"
It's normal to feel a range of ugly emotions when looking at the actions of Australian PMs, but I've never had the utter contempt that I have for the words & actions of Albanese. A pitiful, utterly wretched individual, nursing his secret hatred of women & virtue-signalling his sadism.

18.02.2026 01:23 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I don't think it would spoil anything without the context of the show. The one thing I forgot about canon was the truth about Sisko's mother that is mentioned on SFA, but I think by the time any SFA viewer got to S7, they probably wouldn't remember that. There's so much to discover on DS9.

Welcome to the party, pal.
I respect the film industry and love working with directors and actors. So no.

16.02.2026 23:27 โ ๐ 59 ๐ 6 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0The arguments really are just vibes based, because there is no world where 32 makes more sense unless it's the only thing you're used to. (America: defending itself against the metric system because Imperial *feels better*)
