FWIW, the main reason ACA enrollment is so much higher in states won by Trump is because they include all 10 of the states which refused to expand Medicaid.

There’s millions of heavily subsidized ACA enrollees who would otherwise be eligible for Medicaid if those states expanded it.

Medicare advantage plans in general are a total Ponzi scheme. The insurance industry lures you in with lower rates and as you get older they bump the premiums AND they increasingly deny payment to your providers and deny coverage of certain conditions to you. You should NEVER sign up.

If AI tools yield wrongful denials, this will hurt patients & doctors.

No one can afford to pay 75% of their income in insurance premiums, which is why the CBO projected that several million enrollees will be priced out of the market entirely & be forced to either enroll in junk plans or pray they get a job w/health benefits.
