Many of these ppl are white—along w/mixed-race, black, asian, & other internat'l faculty. It's esp true among the students attending these universities.

They have been a vortex of soc/cultural change.

Yeah, that's true—esp inasmuch as the bigots perceive themselves as being *more* free to "be themselves" here in the US than they would if they were to work in major SAfrican urban areas.

Since the end of Apartheid, they can speak & organize in less populated areas, but feel scolded elsewhere.

Real wages, especially at the lowered end were growing! The Biden policies were a success in that regard that completely got overshadowed by a global inflation shock
