Emotional attunement pro-tip: DO NOT say "you just need to" when offering support or advice. It is terribly dismissive and suggests that you know better than the person living in the problem.
Instead, try empathizing & being curious:
- Tell me more
- That sucks
- What do you need?

Remember: If we allow ourselves to fall into fatalism, or wallow in disappointment, or become resigned to what is rather than what should be, we will lose the long game.
The greatest enemy of positive social change is cynicism about what can be changed.

A healthy economy depends on care.
When caregivers are paid and valued, families can work, businesses can hire, and communities can thrive.
