What’s hurt Democrats long term isn’t promising undeliverables, it’s prioritizing the desires of corporate interests and big donors above the needs of actual voters.

Neoliberalism replacing liberalism is a BIG part of how we got to a place where we’re having to fight the ascendance of fascism, ffs.

"The government said Monday that state agencies will have to recode their eligibility systems to adjust… and it is unclear how quickly state systems will be able to do so. It warned that in some states, these system changes 'will take anywhere from a few weeks to up to several months.'" Uh…

I have watched this work locally. When things are going terribly and the local GOP abandons their people and the local dems show up with food pantries and stuff to help anyone who needs it. It bleeds through the noise. Sometimes it radicalizes them into our cause.

But we get NO support down here.

We found more than 170 incidents since the start of Trump’s second term. Americans have been kicked, dragged and held for days without access to lawyers.

Undergarment upgrades bring many Mormon women comfort and joy New sleeveless sacred undergarments for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are now available in the U.S., exciting many women in the faith.

In case you don't know, Mormons wear special undergarments that I think are blessings but also are enforced "modesty" since you can't wear a ton of clothes without the garments showing.

Athletes and performers (like Benson Boone) can get special dispensation around wearing the garments.

NYC is going to have the world's biggest media-manufactured crime panic in history the second Mamdani is elected. They aren't even going to wait until he is inaugurated. Whether or not you like the guy, you need to start preparing now for the fire hose of disinformation that is about to activate.

"Why don't people support welfare programs?"

Racism. More specifically, anti-Blackness.

White folks asked about who welfare serves overestimate the number of Black people on welfare. Not only that, but just the mere THOUGHT of who welfare supports led less white people to support it. #blacksky

Oh, also, I'm assuming you've seen photos of the set by now? There's a couple places during the show where I had to wonder if the set was designed specifically for the way that scene was done, or if they just discovered it while practicing in the set.
