I have watched this work locally. When things are going terribly and the local GOP abandons their people and the local dems show up with food pantries and stuff to help anyone who needs it. It bleeds through the noise. Sometimes it radicalizes them into our cause.

Thanks for the suggestion. It definitely went high on my "I want to see that again" list, but now I'm extra curious.

If I find myself thinking through chicken and egg situations and artistic intentions with the set design, a lot of things have gone really right.

Oh, also, I'm assuming you've seen photos of the set by now? There's a couple places during the show where I had to wonder if the set was designed specifically for the way that scene was done, or if they just discovered it while practicing in the set.

I found clips of other productions for my pitch to my kids to come see it with me, and the thing that came through the clearest for me was how important the relationship between the lead actors was going to be. Reading interviews with them, I knew I was in for a treat.
