It turns out Soylent Green was just the friends you made along the way. πŸ€”

Someone once said NextDoor is the social network for dogs if they could type. It’s always β€œwhat’s that noise?” and β€œwho’s that stranger?” which is exactly what I imagine my dogs would text other neighborhood dogs.

Trump disrupts global economic order even though the US is dominant By declaring a trade war on the rest of the world, President Donald Trump has panicked global financial markets and raised the risk of a recession.

BREAKING: President Donald Trump’s new tariffs go into effect, including a combined 104% levy on China. The move raises the risk of a recession and of breaking the political and economic alliances that made much of the world stable for business after World War II.

Who is this Trump guy everyone keeps talking about? Haven't heard of him.

The "can't stand the sound of my stupid voice" people have been feeling that one for a while 😞.

Their allies are moderate Republicans, who don't exist anymore.

People giving Metaphor Refantazio grief for it's name aren't considering the up sides, that they've got unlimited sequel names already set, Metaphor RE:Refantazio, Metaphor RE:RE:Refantazio, etc.

Eric Adams opened this morning’s press conference by rolling a garbage bin up to the podium, placing a bag of trash in it, and saying β€œwelcome to our trash revolution” while Empire State of Mind played in the background

Come to Detroit, we've got good pizza! (and we're right next to Canada, just in case).

If Fallout released an episode a week, we'd be getting the final episode this week, yet it feels like a month since I've seen anyone mention it. I don't think waiting a week between episodes is the best approach, but dumping everything at once makes sure your show doesn't get talked about for long.

Yea, regardless of their (hateful) beliefs, I don't see how anyone could say their posts are accomplishing anything. You'd think they'd want to stop just because of how toxic it's making all their online interactions. Somehow after achieving their dream, they end up committed to unhappy resentment.

If you want to read about Roger and all the talent to come out of New World, check out a book called Crab Monsters, Teenage Cavemen, and Candy Stripe Nurses. It's a love letter to Corman from some of the all-time greats. Here's a story James Cameron told in it about getting his first directing job.

Sad to hear about Roger Corman passing, he always seemed like a decent guy and helped launch the careers of more great filmmakers than probably anybody ever will.

Good stuff, kept the tone perfectly, I'll definitely read more. And if I come across any strange pills I'll hold onto them for you.

The Great Stephen King ReRead β€” Grady Hendrix

It was Grady Hendrix reread that inspired me, highly recommended if you like to jump into an interesting discussion after you finish a book. www.gradyhendrix.com/the-great-st...

I'm a little over a year into a Stephen King chronological reread and after his first 24 books I finally got to the first I didn't like, Four Past Midnight. Some iconic stories in those first dozen books. Overall a lot of fun, King knows how to write a eminently readable book.
