The move raises the risk of a recession and of breaking the political and economic alliances that made much of the world stable for business after World War II.

01.06.2024 16:03 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0If Fallout released an episode a week, we'd be getting the final episode this week, yet it feels like a month since I've seen anyone mention it. I don't think waiting a week between episodes is the best approach, but dumping everything at once makes sure your show doesn't get talked about for long.

You'd think they'd want to stop just because of how toxic it's making all their online interactions. Somehow after achieving their dream, they end up committed to unhappy resentment.
13.05.2024 18:00 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0If you want to read about Roger and all the talent to come out of New World, check out a book called Crab Monsters, Teenage Cavemen, and Candy Stripe Nurses. It's a love letter to Corman from some of the all-time greats. Here's a story James Cameron told in it about getting his first directing job.
12.05.2024 16:28 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Sad to hear about Roger Corman passing, he always seemed like a decent guy and helped launch the careers of more great filmmakers than probably anybody ever will.

11.05.2024 16:36 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I'm a little over a year into a Stephen King chronological reread and after his first 24 books I finally got to the first I didn't like, Four Past Midnight. Some iconic stories in those first dozen books. Overall a lot of fun, King knows how to write a eminently readable book.
