Minnesota Could Prosecute the ICE Shooter. Trump Can’t Pardon Him. Shortly after an ICE officer shot and killed a woman in Minneapolis, city leaders began looking into whether the officer had violated state criminal law.

Wrote a piece for @slate.com explaining that states have a long history of prosecuting federal officers when they allegedly use excessive force. Federal officers are only immune from such prosecutions when they act reasonably in carrying out lawful duties.

Go out to group events. Bar trivia, library reading groups, a boxing class, whatever. And then, keep going.

Half an hour on FB and I feel dirty and depressed. Five minutes on here, I’ve seen a few really funny things and a few genuinely nice things. Unfortunately FB is still better for finding out about local traffic concerns, or I’d never go back.

Not mentioning gay people doesn’t stop them from existing. It just makes your student uniformed. Why would you want that for your kids?

So when do Blue states start banning firearms? And then start making every gun owner file an individual lawsuit seeking an individual injunction?

Or they can go through the class certification process which, let me tell you having done it myself in litigation, takes forever.
