04.11.2025 16:36 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I rewatched Halloween Kills last night, and with studious use of the fast forward button I had a lot of fun with it.
01.11.2025 17:06 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Finally watched Pet Sematary 2.
Why did it get so much hate? It's a solid sequel with a line of weirdness all it's own that manages to capture the Stephen King vibe (which cannot be said of all King movie adaptations/sequels).
There are moments in The Dream Master that really bring to mind Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that an indie author in possession of a new book, must be in want of a review.

"Toadhead is a weird and enthralling novella. As the story progressed, it had me on the edge of my seat!"
I'd certainly watch the first episode first and the last two in last place, but other than that you can pretty much go hog wild. I wouldn't recommend anyone watch the penultimate episode as their introduction to the show like the OP suggests!

I am thrilled that readers are empathising somewhat with my monster. That was one of my secret hopes.

26.07.2025 14:54 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0TOADHEAD has hopped it's way into the top 100 of British horror fiction.
(I know toads don't hop but let me have this one)
My friend Andrew's new book TOADHEAD is out today. I was lucky enough to see an early draft and I can't wait to read the finished version.
It's creepy and weird yet retains a sly sense of humour throughout, even (or especially) when things get disgusting (in all the right ways).
I ordered my copy today, so YOU should, too. If it's anything like Andrew's first two books, it'll be excellent. Go support fantastic talent.
