The richest man in the world is taking food from children in the US and abroad. I can’t imagine having that much money and deciding that instead of feeding children I’d take food from them.

Not gonna lie I did kinda expect our Democratic politicians to have something like a plan to counter the 920-page detailed fascist blueprint that was published in April 2023

And let’s be real that most of the people that will be held there are going to be brown. People like say, Melania Trump who worked here illegally before she had a visa and an anchor baby, won’t be included in any of this and we all know why.

Trump has announced that the USA is preparing Guantanamo Bay to take 30,000 migrants. So we’ve openly moved into the concentration camp stage now. We’ve been doing it on a smaller scale level for ages but this is a much larger and more public version. Welcome to Nazi America.

The United States is on the same path. And we are supporting genocide already happening in other places. It is a slippery slope from supporting to actively doing and we’re already sliding.

It’s International Holocaust Remembrance Day and I just want to remind everyone that it doesn’t start with the gas chambers. It starts with things like dehumanizing and othering groups of people in the media. It’s so important to look at the steps leading up to the Holocaust, because right now…

The bones in my back have been essentially disintegrating for 10 years because I was dismissed as “just fat.” I’m lucky in that my issue won’t kill me. Not everyone who has been dismissed by a doctor as “just fat” has been so lucky.

Medical fat phobia maims and it kills and it needs to stop.

Yesterday I was told I have degenerative disc disease in my spine. The first time I sought help for back pain was 10 years. That doctor looked at me and said “Well, you’re grossly obese so that’s why your back hurts.” I weighed 150 lbs back then. But even if I had weighed more, I deserved better.

Oooh I think they might be looking for a new side hustle, or 12.

Well one thing is incredibly clear after the first day: this is not a “Pro-Life” administration, this is a Pro-Death administration.

Not all of them do. My husband is a soon to be veteran who absolutely despises Trump. Yeah a lot of them eat his crap up, but there are plenty who don’t.

I have no idea. Maybe they think it’s a case of “well they won’t screw ME over, just those guys over there!” But that’s a terrible mindset to have.

They love veterans when they can trot them out for photo ops. But definitely not when it comes to supporting them in any tangible way.

Zuck says companies need more masculine energy. Did he miss that overwhelmingly men still run things, ESPECIALLY in the tech sector where he is? In conversations where women speak only 30% of the time, they’re perceived as dominating the conversation. Sounds like something similar is happening.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Sometimes I forget how odd some of my decor is until we have “outsiders” at the house, usually people doing work. It’s worse than usual right now since the house is torn apart for packing so I found myself apologizing for the multitude of dicks everywhere. 😅

At the point in packing where I’m dropping boxes in rooms and dropping items in as I wander back and forth. Moving a household full of ND people is an adventure, to say the least.

Y’all… your fireworks can still set things on fire after you’re finished with them. Just put out a fire at a neighbor’s because we were driving home and the box of “dead” ones they’d left out was an inferno.

That’s one job that I can say I’ll truly miss! But it’s time to look to the future after I get my house packed up and we get moved.

That’s why I love my job. I might work selling rubber dicks for a living, but I get the chance to do so much educating and correcting of that kind of bs. I get to help people in my deeply Southern states leave shame behind in their intimate lives.

Trying to figure out how to balance a full time work schedule, taking care of my health, taking care of my house, having sleep, having leisure time, all of the rage at the state of the world, and let’s just say it’s not going well.

Homemade chicken noodle soup is good for what ails the soul some days. This batch came out especially well, I think! I added fresh grated ginger and a generous splash of soy sauce for added depth of flavor.
