As much as socially-conservative-socialists like to present themselves as anti-liberal, they don’t seem to understand that liberals can lie. As a result, they end up siding with liberals on social issues while thinking they’re siding against them.

The socially-conservative-socialist argument of “supporting minorities is liberal” relies on taking liberalism at face value and assuming liberals to be truthful when they say that they support minorities.

a lot of people in 2020 treated it like a "trend" and not as a serious political viewpoint and that very much came through with the amount of anarchists at the time who were arguing for liberal democracy "but with a good leader this time"

I think it's actually really well done and makes sense as a New Vegas followup especially since a bit of the conceit of the original game was that all of these factions were deeply flawed and could crumble and collapse at any moment.

This show is way better than people give it credit for and I think it deserves a lot more love. (spoilers in alt text)
