I used to put the boombox on the bulkhead of my van, and part of the braking process was reaching up and keeping it from flying back and killing any passengers sitting in the back seats.

So old I remember shit that used to be standard in cars: packets of ammonia to resuscitate victims of fainting (I guess?) Mom left me in the car in a parking lot (again,old),got bored, found the first aid kit,cracked open aforementioned packet, huffed deeply, damn near blew the top of my head off.
