I guess what I'm trying to say is that there are tactical actions to protect vulnerable people and mitigate CBP abuses, and there are strategic actions to document and broadcast CBP abuses to the rest of the country. I don't see where dumpster fires fit into this picture

I don't know a fucking thing about protests or organizing or grassroots politics but I do know how to lose a battle for the hearts and minds of a population that views you as a hostile occupying force, and I also know you're not supposed to interrupt your adversary when they're making a mistake 🤷‍♂️
