04.10.2025 03:39 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0100% agree on cultural expectation. If I'm hiring people to run transit, the first question I ask is how you get around the city.
30.09.2025 00:38 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Well, it's not something you can force on people. Agree it's disappointing they all just drive and can't be bothered not driving even one week a year. You'd think they'd want to try the fruits of their labor.
Not even conceivable to see on a bus our mayor, or Ford, or Sarkaria for more then a photo
It's for the people who make policies and implement our transit and transportation networks but never experience any of it outside of a car. From municipalities all the way up to federal level. Politicians and staff.

26.09.2025 12:19 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0ok, i agree with all that. your first post was confusing, because you said "agree" to @jleiper.bsky.social opposing holiday for community benefits. holiday doesn't go far enough. delete this regressive tax once and for all
20.09.2025 16:29 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Why do you agree that the burden of supporting affordable housing and public amenities should be put on new homes?
Better delete community benefit charges and increase property taxes for all.
City needs to do all it can to lower the cost of homes.
100% agree on roads, Lansdowne etc
I'm the first to complain about the lack of amenities, or lack of maintenance of existing amenities, but forcing people struggling to buy a home to pay for it is wrong. It's a community benefit, make the community pay.
19.09.2025 20:55 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0We're in a cost of housing emergency, not in a community benefits emergency. Your number one focus should be doing everything you can to lower cost of housing.
19.09.2025 20:53 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0Why are you set on making new residents pay for community benefits that are for all? That's a regressive tax that increases the cost of housing.
Do you know what would be better than one time community benefit payment? More homes paying property taxes for ever!
Speed limits should be much much lower

Where's the bold vision?
PLEASE do not allow this to proceed as is. Not acceptable. In fact, how could you allow this to get to this stage?!? Here's a summary of the proposal. Just replace pedestrians in the pic with bikes. How is this acceptable in 2025? This isn't even the mayor's "balanced" approach. It prioritizes cars
09.09.2025 14:19 โ ๐ 10 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Of course Mr David Hill is completely oblivious that the hundreds of millions that he champions for road widening and realignment projects in his ward exasperate the issue. There is 0 stunt driving on this arterial: youtu.be/hB6-U3NUYt4
06.09.2025 15:31 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0How do you move 1000 people? One link train with four cars, 15 buses, or 625 cars requiring over 5 acres of parking at both start and destination.
What does it take to move 1000 people? Better infrastructure supporting mobility choices that donโt take up so much space (or produce so much emissions/pollution, cost so much public money, etc).

Is there a single place where height or density was added because of you?
All the evidence I see is that it was added despite you.
Seriously, can you take credit for any of it?
your objections to more homes in your ward justify and boost sprawl like tewin.
all the arguments against the increased heights is just 'pearl clutching' by out of touch privileged people that already have homes
i did read entirety thank you very much. and you do object to more height. b/c why would we encourage more people living in one a walkable and pleasant neighbourhoods?!?!
you object to sprawl like tewin (๐) but only way to undermine sprawl like that is to allow more homes in city
