Donβt let Trump block AI safety regulations. Placing guardrails on Big Tech and AI is critical to keep people safe!
10.12.2025 20:13 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0President Trump keeps trying to give the White House and David Sacks the power to override state AI safety laws.
Doing this only makes sense if the presidentβs goal is to please the Big Tech elites who helped pay for his campaign, his inauguration and his ballroom.
On Monday, House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries avoided taking a stance on the issue, saying that it βhasn't been brought to the leadership level yet.β
This isn't enough. Our poll found that voters want to see their congressional leaders fighting back against AI deregulation.
A new Demand Progress poll finds that Dem and Indy voters overwhelmingly want to see Dem leaders fighting efforts by Trump and GOP leaders to ban states from passing or enforcing AI laws.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth may have committed war crimes during one of his bombings of Venezuelan boats. Tell Congress to investigate Hegseth and block war with Venezuela!

26.11.2025 16:02 β π 3 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0The Department of Justice yesterday announced a settlement for its lawsuit against RealPage, which allegedly created software which enabled landlords to collude to raise rents via algorithmic pricing schemes. In response to the Department of Justiceβs announcement, Revolving Door Project Assistant Director Andrea Beaty said: βThe DOJβs lawsuit against RealPage was brought by the trustbusters of the Biden administration, who sought to βend their practice of putting profits over people and make housing more affordable for millions of people across the country.β Now Trumpβs appointees have negotiated a settlement which requires restrictions on RealPageβs use of nonpublic rental data and current lease information, but appears to stop short of financial penalty or admission of wrongdoing.β βThis settlement is far from the consequences that RealPageβs alleged rental price fixing called for.β In the 2024 presidential election, the cost of housing was consistently ranked a top issue for swing state voters and polling indicated voters wanted to see more of the Biden-Harris crackdown on RealPage. Yet an extremely effective Harris ad promising the administration would go after landlords and price gouging had βvirtually never been aired.β Instead of capitalizing on the anti-rent gouging message, the Harris campaign dialed back on populist positions. βThis settlement further underscores the vast gulf between Americansβ appetite for holding price gouging corporations accountable and the Trump administrationβs pay-to-play approach to justice. Price gouging was a policy area in which the Biden administration made significant strides but Vice President Harris opted not to lean into. With affordability still top-of-mind to voters, that contrast has only gotten more important. Trumpβs critics should be emphasizing how his administration is not only cracking down on political opponents, but looking away as rapacious elites allegedly immiserate hardworking Americans.β

The Senate is on track to send the Epstein bill to President Trumpβs desk!
All Americans are watching what happens next. Any sign that the president is delaying or avoiding releasing the full files will create a backlash that could consume the rest of his presidency.
The House just voted, 427-1, to pass a bill to release the Epstein files!
Now Senate Majority Leader Thune must hold a vote on the bill without changes or delays. Americans in both parties won't accept any more political games.
