The first of a few pieces from my interview with Ken Burns about #TheAmericanRevolution. I got the honestly once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to walk with him and his co-directors through Old City Philadelphia and talk about history right next to where it happened. Cannot recommend highly enough.

One thing I cannot get over about All's Fair is that the lawyers are all way too rich. They would be millionaires, not billionaires. And like I can only think they are in mansions that big because like Kim K refused to shoot anywhere else.

I mean that twist would have also been welcome ... When you get further I wrote a thing about the marriages. It is not subtle but hey i like stuff that makes a point with a hammer rather than not trying to make a point at all.

So it took me a really long time to get through the first few episodes because of Mom stuff but I was glad I did in the end because a) I thought they made some really nice points and b) the end is I N S A N E
