you can enjoy a show, draw art of it, bond with others over it etc but you have to keep your head on straight. it's just a show. and if it becomes the most important thing in your life that's a major problem

people always go "it's Star Wars, it's Marvel, it's Sonic, it's Digital Circus, it's the specific franchise that's the problem" no it's just fandom

ever notice how every giant fandom becomes a toxic cesspool full of drama and resentment towards the creator of the work they're all obsessing over, hmm almost like centering your life around a piece of media is not healthy
