I often wonder how Matt spends the 23 hours 58 minutes every day when he's not working.
Lazy messages and safe targets don't make a satirist. He's a court jester.

Thing is David, if a wealth tax happens, it was inevitable. Yes?

I think that would be you…defending very bad treatment by saying ’not *everybody* gets very bad treatment’

Between 2019 and 2024 in real terms EU exports grew by 11%.

UK exports also grew. By 0.89%.

That's the total. Goods exports were lower in real terms in 2024 than in 2014.

Irrelevant to the ones who get the worse conditions.

You missed the chance to say “…and surely you can stop calling me Google”

11.10.2025 10:03 — 👍 0    🔁 0    💬 0    📌 0

That’s irrelevant. The fact is that the country‘s infrastructure is supported by very bad labour conditions.

But don’t you notice the various trucks and road gangs of Bengalis, or are you unaware of their labour conditions which underpin the whole fancy-mall infrastructure?

What about WH Smith management - who decide to only sell water bottles in airports that are too big to fit in the seat-back storage (because they can charge a bit more for the big bottle, and they are monopolists while you are in the terminal?)

Same.
Except in French-Politics-Rugby there is a big scrum with 6 different teams, who never agree in which direction it is necessary for one to push (subjunctive).

Gloria (‘Them‘ hit version being done in The Pound in Belfast on a Saturday afternoon in 1976 by the band with Them’s lead guitarist). Also 9/10.
(No curmudgeonly old git involved)

He also think “asylum seekers” are people who were previously locked up in an asylum for being insane.

So, does this show that in the New Right Tory hierarchy of hatreds, religious hatred (of Muslims) is at the top, above asylum seekers & European [anything]?

That the Conservative party is now a kind of English UVF?

Surprised “overhaul date unknown”.
From a car service schedule to a sub-station maintenance programme, there are usually records of dates of testing/fixing the various elements.

I hear a Spitfire or two overhead most days in the “Spitfire season”. May need to be ready to take cover…

I hope you’re right.
Because there are no ‘Allied Forces’ who can come to kick out the US Nazis.
Putin is one smart, evil bastard to have conquered the USA like this.

Over 40% of corn grown in Indiana is used to make ethanol that cars burn. One acre of corn yields about 16,500 vehicle-miles per year of ethanol, which sounds high until you realize that one acre of solar yields about 2,700,000 vehicle-miles per year: 16,000% more driving for a given plot of land.

He‘s been told he’s only got [?] to live. His references to ‘after Trump’ etc show this. The Gauleiters are busy trying to cement their paramilitary control of your country and jockeying for position.
God help you.

I know statistics are poorly understood and are misused. But facts matter

Between the 1991, 2001, 2011 and 2021 Census *every* ethnic group in the UK has become *less* geographically segregated and *all* groups, majority and minorities, are more likely to interact with people not like them

In the UK our go to soft cheese was Chaource from Sainsbury’s, but that went away, so now it’s Pié d’Angloys (also Sainsbury’s). (Lidl is good for charcuterie, but cheese, meh…)

Well, no. It’s 3.5 to 5% normally in pubs. Which is typical for UK. But bottled beer in France is typically 6 to 8%. And of course more from those crazy Belgian monks.

Yeah, it’s a pain.
I guess the hit on Leclerc in Outreau will be shorter than usual.
Mainly Wine & a bit of beer (alcohol % are generally too high for me, as I developed Belfast rates of consumption at an early age)

Last English King with that claim to power was Charles I.
The English chopped his head off…

Also, commercially there was a raw-milk based ban. If it’s been lifted I haven’t seen any news on that.
