Yes, I would want to see an annual service record with clear quantifications on how battery had been treated (easy to monitor and record, surely) and Battery tests that gave estimated capacity.

But a company car driver may not give a shit about that & I canโt check it afaik.
Christmas thing at the local church where no.1 daughterโs primary class was going up the aisle dressed as angels or something & no. 1 son asked about the pictures on the walls. They were the stations of the cross.

friend and I had drinks with her cousin and his 7yo kid in Marseille and he brought us to this pedestrian square that's basically lots of terraces with a playground in the middle so the adults can do lunch/drinks/dinner while keeping an eye on their playing kids and......why is this not everywhere

This piece is an extraordinary deep dive into mRNA vaccine technology, why it is critical, and the damage caused by RFK Jr. torpedoing funding for it.
Incredible work by @funsizeimmuninja.bsky.social and Dr. Jess Steier.
mRNA is indeed, as the authors say, a molecule of hope.
If you switch to DuckDuckGo, you can completely switch off AI and avoid accidentally using MW of power to generate a bullshit answer.

10.08.2025 20:02 โ ๐ 864 ๐ 131 ๐ฌ 80 ๐ 20The point is, proscribing an organisation as โterroristโ really requires them to be *terrorists*. So, what does that mean?
Does it mean: protesting, sit-ins and criminal damage to various organisationsโ equipment?
Or does it mean:bombs in shops and burning down hotels?
I suggest the latter.
Jenrick lived and worked in Russia, a country with the highest level of domestic violence against women in the world. Fuck him and the horse he rode in on. What a cnut.

So, Murdoch.
The Times has got some basic legal points wrong. There's no requirement for visa waived visitors (such as UK citizens) to have travel medical insurance. Nor is there a requirement to have a return ticket, just the means to buy one (or being in a position to acquire such means lawfully).

I have been supplementing my French classes by reading Harry Potter & the Philosopherโs Stone in French (lots of dialogue, vocab aimed at children & I have the original & keep coordinated bookmarks)
Next time Iโm in ๐ซ๐ท will get a Rivers ๐& will see what they make of the โasboโ etc!
I have seen their actions include criminal damage, but havenโt seen anything โviolentโ (ie attacks on persons). Do you have a reference on violence they have done/planned.
I mean, Civil Rights protesters were disruptive and caused some damage. The IRA put bombs in shops.
An important distinction.
I imagine after doing an ETIAS & EES registration there will still be little questioning or โprovingโ for most travellers, as at present.
With a similar number of crossings, weโve only been asked โwhere are you going?โ by ๐ซ๐ท once, whereas we get โwhereโve you been? Why?โ every time by ๐ฌ๐ง.
NB this curtails some of the actions against Extinction Rebellion but doesnโt change the proscription of Palestine Action as โterroristโ for non-violent but disruptive protests (& criminal damage).
Which is a rather US-style redefinition of words (trying a child โas an adultโ for example).
Addendum for UK:

I donโt think the written constitution has stopped ICE arresting 3,000 people *a day* without due process or evidence.
Truth is, neither US written constitution, nor UKโs patchwork of statute law & common law, will stop abuse of power unless the people *with* power (MPs, Congress, Courts) act.
I had imagined this hard Brexit + CTA would lead to a return of the Police presence they had as you came off the ferry in Stranraer/Liverpool to eye up the passengers ๐๏ธ๐๏ธ
