‘I love Hitler’: Leaked messages expose Young Republicans’ racist chat Thousands of private messages reveal young GOP leaders joking about gas chambers, slavery and rape.

Is this more "locker room talk” or do we actually wanna hold Republicans in positions of power accountable?

A 13-year-old boy was arrested by ICE in Everett and sent to a juvenile detention facility in Virginia.
A 13-year-old boy was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Everett after an interaction with members of the Everett Police Department and sent to a juvenile detention facility in Virginia, according to his mother and immigration lawyer Andrew Lattarulo.

The boy’s mother, Josiele Berto, was called to pick her son up from the Everett Police Department on Thursday, the day he was arrested. After waiting for about an hour and a half, she was told her son was taken by ICE, Berto told the Globe in a phone interview.

“My world collapsed,” Berto said in Portuguese.

From the police department, the boy was taken to ICE’s holding facility in Burlington on Thursday evening, where he spent a night before being transferred by car to the Northwestern Regional Juvenile Detention Center in Winchester, Va., on Friday morning, his mother said. The juvenile facility is more than 500 miles away from Everett.

The boy is a 7th-grader at Albert N. Parlin School in Everett, his mother said. The teen and his family, who are Brazilian nationals, have a pending asylum case and are authorized to work legally in the United States, Lattarulo said.

WE URGENTLY CALL ON THE WORLD'S PRESS AND EVERYONE: DO NOT LOOK AWAY. There are major protests happening in INDONESIA led by workers under the HONESTUM movement. We are demanding better labor rights and opposing outsourcing and low wages.
Countless people in the crowds were left gravely injured their bodies scorched by burns, their faces torn open by rubber bullets, their lungs choked with tear gas fired point-blank. Some were even struck with injectors. The police did not stop at the protesters. They unleashed their weapons into residential neighborhoods, where small children cried and families cowered in terror.
The demonstrations in Indonesia are being crushed with a level of brutality and sadism that cannot be ignored. Protesters are being turned into victims, entire communities left in fear. Our own government is waging war against its civilians and no one among us is safe.
Every piece of evidence will be shown and shared below. Every photograph, every testimony, every proof of this horror. Let the world witness what is happening here. Let there be no denial, no cover-up, no forgetting. The evidence will speak, and it will reveal the truth that our people are being brutalized, and our cries for justice can no longer be ignored.

The demonstrations near the Parliament Building and the State Palace are not just noise in the streets.
We represent the frustration especially workers who are demanding that our government finally listen. For too long, people have been struggling under unfair systems: low wages, exploitative outsourcing, and weak labor protections. These policies enrich a few while leaving millions of workers vulnerable and underpaid. When we take to the streets, it is not out of recklessness, but out of necessity. We want to be heard. We want change. Here are some points we demand this fuckass government listen to:
1. Labor Rights and Economic Grievances: The primary driver of this protests led by the HOSTUM movement (Hapus Outsourcing, Tolak Upah Murah, meaning
"Eliminate Outsourcing, Reject Low Wages"), was opposition to outsourcing practices and low wages.
Workers, organized by groups like the Labour Party and the Confederation of Indonesian Trade Unions (KSPI), demanded better working conditions and fair pay, reflecting widespread frustration with economic policies that favor employers over workers.
2. Government Budget Cuts: Protests were fueled by public anger over $19 billion in spending cuts announced by President Prabowo Subianto's administration. These cuts, affecting areas like travel, consultants, training, and stationery, were perceived as threatening social support systems, exacerbating
economic hardshin for manv Indonesians.

3. Military Cronyism and Political Power
Consolidation: A new law passed in March 2025 expanded civilian roles for military officers, raising fears of a return to military-backed cronyism reminiscent of the Suharto era. This, combined with perceived attempts to consolidate political power (e.g., controversial electoral law changes), sparked protests against what many saw as a threat to democratic principles.
4. Parliamentary Privileges and Corruption: Public outrage was directed at excessive parliamentary privileges, with reports of parliamentarians receiving up to 100 million rupiah ($6,150) monthly, including substantial housing allowances. This contrasted sharply with low wages for workers like honorary teachers, fueling perceptions of elite corruption and inequality.
5. Broader Democratic Concerns: The protests, part of a broader wave of unrest under banners like "Indonesia Gelap" (Dark Indonesia), reflected discontent with governance under President Prabowo Subianto. Issues such as corruption, budget mismanagement, and policies seen as undermining democracy (e.g., electoral law changes linked to former President Joko Widodo's allies) drove students, workers, and civil society to demonstrate.
This blackout is not just censorship but it's a fucking violence in another form. They're trying to erase our voices, erase our struggle, erase the proof of their brutality. We refuse to be silenced. We need the world to know: in Indonesia right now, workers and ordinary citizens are being attacked for standing up for justice.
AGAIN. WE DEMAND YOUR ATTENTION.

As you read these horrendous accounts from the men who were illegally renditioned to a Salvadoran torture prison, keep in mind that, on Monday, the corrupt GOP Congress is set to install as an appellate court judge the man who said "fuck court orders" when another judge tried to stop this.

Case 8:25-cv-00951-PX
Document 211
Filed 07/02/25 Page 2 of 5
3. The proposed Amended Complaint details the Government's defiance of court
orders after this Court granted preliminary injunctive relief. The Amended Complaint includes
allegations that the Government made decisions to defy judicial mandates. These allegations are
new to the Complaint, but have been cited in various filings in this Court as the case has developed.
They are directly relevant to Plaintiffs' constitutional claims and outstanding requests for
declaratory and prospective injunctive relief.
4. Plaintiffs also seek to incorporate evidence that emerged in a June 2025
whistleblower disclosure from former DOJ official Erez Reuveni, who was previously counsel for
the Government in this case. The new allegations include government officials internally
acknowledging that Abrego Garcia's removal was an "administrative error" while simultaneously
working to prevent his return and to make post-hoc justifications. These revelations provide
evidence of deliberate misconduct that was unavailable when the original Complaint was filed and
directly support Plaintiffs' claims.
5. The proposed Amended Complaint also Includes Abrego Garcia's first-hand
account of torture and mistreatment at CECOT, as well as developments regarding his return to the United States and the Government's stated plan to remove him again. These allegations identify
the severe harm actually suffered and the threat of repeated unlawful removal that supports
Plaintiffs' request for prospective injunctive relief. The inclusion of these facts, which could not
have been pleaded at the time of the original filing, is essential to present a complete picture of the
violations and ensure adequate relief.
6. Plaintiffs also propose to clarify that the relief sought includes restoring the status
quo ante, which requires (among other things) the Government to return Abrego Garcia to
