You were right, the lake is a false lead, I couldn't find any evidence of activity by the shore.
The camper van was a different story. We have a boot print, forensics show pine needles.
Missing family. Camped by the forest on the edge of a lake. Camper van seems like it was left during dinner. I've got three black feathers to go on.
