Yeah but in 1996 I had time to dedicate to multiple playthrougha. Nowadays I don't exactly have the time to do that and I prefer to play other new experiences. Hence, this media thread haha. I know what you mean overall, though. I just think a remake would alleviate a lot of those issues.

I mean, I played for the first 3 hours and was getting roughed up bad, that I decided to start over and try to do a better job managing heals. I admitted used a guide but the game is so obtuse in where you need to go that I did not really mind that much. It didn't feel as clear as other RE's.

I appreciate your thoughts. I just find things like if you get to the mutated Steve chase portion, and you have no healing options, you kinda screw yourself if you didn't make multiple saves. That can frustrate most people and doesn't necessarily give a great player experience.

Fix a lot of the pitfalls, things that help you not get locked out of the game. Examples being the fire extinguisher and certain enemy encounters. I would also make the areas you explore feel more organically connected. They didn't feel that way in CV. Obviously, fine tune the story as well.

27. Wario Ware Get it Together!

A fun little romp for a few hours. A surprising amount of fun actually. I can definitely see myself coming back to this one for multiplayer with friends. However, I am glad it was a gift as I dont think it's quite worth $50. A pleasant surprise regardless though!

26. Resident Evil Code Veronica X

A lot of praises for a game that I did not care for much. Its not very well designed overall. The weapons are fun, the story is stupid, and this game needs a remake BADLY. I liked it better than RE0 but this game doesnt hold a candle to other games in the franchise

25. Turok: Dinosaur Hunter

God, this is so much better than the Xbox 360 one. I love the level design of this one with its focus on exploration over the modern approach of enemy gauntlets. Doesn't overstay its welcome either (except maybe the last level.) I had a lot of fun with this one.

24. Superman

Probably my film of the year. Its such a refreshing take on the character after Man of Steels run. The film definitely hits close to home considering the world we live in right now. And it nails it. I really enjoyed this one.

23. The Penguin

This was some good ass TV. Definitely not something for those seeking something a little more lighthearted. Collin Farrell kills it, but the rest of the cast matches the quality as well.

22. Donkey Kong Country 3

This game is...strange. It feels like a half baked spinoff but at the same time it isnt bad. It's just not as good as the original, 2, or the later sequels. The music isn't very good this time either. Overall, a fairly forgettable experience but still far from the worst.

(2/2) I can see why it has a cult following, but I still prefer elements of Returns and whole heartedly prefer Tropical Freeze as a whole.

As a package, this is a lot better than DKC1 for sure. The game feels a lot less generic and that helps with the game feeling less bland. DKC3 improves, right?

21. Donkey Kong Country 2

Believe it or not, I've never played through this one. And its miles better than the 1st. Top notch music is the expected affair. Level design is much better too. I much prefer playing as Dixie and Diddy compared to DK. (1/2)

20. Freedom Planet

Sonic meets Megaman is a good comparison. It's an ambitious indie game for 2014. Voice acting isnt bad, music is awesome and the game itself is really good. Only issue I had was the boss difficulty. It's bosses can be BRUTAL. But it's good overall. I'm excited to play its sequel.

19. Ghostwire Tokyo

An exceptionally fun Tokyo city to explore with great vibes and spooky visuals. The 2 protagonists are fun, but sadly, are the only really decent characters. Sadly, the longer the game went on, the more monotonous the collectibles and combat got. I still enjoyed this though.

It certainly feels like Sonic Racing Crossworlds was supposed to launch this month or sometime similar due to all of the heavy marketing its been getting. I wonder if Mario Kart World releasing made them push it back a bit...

(2/2) I just prefer the OG Hyrule Warriors as it felt a lot less restricted and it was a allowed to have more fun. I preferred the crossover element. AoC has a lot of quality, but it's Switch 1 performance made co-op unplayable. Switch 2 helped. Overall I did enjoy my experience with it enough tho.

18. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

(1/2)So I finally played through this one with my wife on Switch 2 due to performance boost. And it is definitely a pretty okay experience.

I'll be honest, while I like the BotW world and characters, the game felt very limited due to it. I still had fun.

17. Donkey Kong Country Returns HD (fixed the numbering fyi)

Its Donkey Kong! It's his country! He's returned! For a 3rd time!

I've beaten this 3 times. It is fun. It is simple. It's a little more bland than Tropical Freeze, but it's still a very solid platformer at its core. Can't go wrong here.

14. Dragon Ball Daima

Forgot to include this one awhile back, but it was really refreshing after the Dragon Ball Super stuff. It was concise and charming. I loved the animation too. It added a lot of little lore things, which we do not get much in DB. Overall it's a very solid watch!

13. Turok (2008)

It's a game that exists and one that I played because I was asked to. I never want to play this piece of dogshit again.

Oh no it's the Dummy Finger situation from RE7's demo all over again hahaha.

After years of grinding, anger, frustration, and perseverance, I finally accomplished my goal of getting everyone into Elite Smash.

It took several years, but it was a goal I set for myself that I never thought I would accomplish. I'm proud of myself and I never want to play quick play again haha.

Oh I am good.
