Yep. Publishers are WELL AWARE of this, too, otherwise they wouldn't bother with *any* book tours or ad campaigns. If they think something won't move the needle, they don't fork out.

It's just that they only want to give those things to the authors who they want to sell well. *shrug*

I love when people are like "AI will replace writers because writing is low-grade/meaningless/unskilled work" but then are like "I can't write a whole paper because that's hard." Like girl which is it.

The Duck Duck Go browser provides an option to remove AI images in image search results. Run a search. Then set the filter to off. It will remember this selection for future searches:
