Remember to change out your air filters when they get gross! Air filters can remove viruses like COVID from the air, which is an important one to avoid because it damages your brain.

This is a great up-and-coming project to crowdsource data on how well different N95s/KN95s etc. fit a wide variety of people.

Good mask fit is really important to get the best protection. The data feeds an app to help people find masks that will fit their face well.

As of right now, I'm looking for more families/individuals to add fit testing and facial measurement data. Participants will be included in a first-come, first-served basis, with preference towards 1. families with kids/teens whose parents would be willing to test on their kids and/or themselves,...

Part I has now started which involves manual caliper/tape measurements and fit testing. Funded by Kanro, I bought 2000 masks of different kinds (super small to large) and have started sending out kits of about 40 per person or family.

*Looking for volunteers!* I along with the help of a few others are building a Mask Recommender Based on Facial Features. TLDR: Goal: scan a face with a phone to get accurate facial measurements, and get a list of masks that have high probability of fitting that individual's face.

This appears to be an article from the Financial Times discussing workplace absenteeism and employee wellbeing in the post-pandemic era. The image shows a person appearing fatigued or stressed at their desk in an office environment, rubbing their eyes or face while working at a computer. There's another person visible in the background.

The article seems to be addressing how employers can handle increased rates of workplace illness and absenteeism following the COVID-19 pandemic. The headline and subheadline indicate that high levels of post-pandemic absenteeism are creating challenges for employers, while the caption emphasizes that prioritizing employee wellbeing is important for building trust, loyalty, and ensuring long-term productivity.

The article is marked as being from "The Editorial Board" and shows it was published "YESTERDAY" with 53 comments. There's also an audio version available with a 4-minute listening time.

You'll never guess which new chronic illness affecting two million in the UK alone is not mentioned in this article

@nukit.bsky.social! Far-UVC to complement our homemade computer fan CR boxes. About size of an alarm motion sensor. Looking forward to an eventual future when this tech is commonplace given how easily deployable and effective.

Will soon post summary of our publication showing the impact of millions of gallons of raw sewage flowing in the Tijuana "river" on air quality and the local communities. Beaches were closed for over 1000 days! Major environmental injustice. How is this being allowed to happen in California?

Steps to get a Masked Monday event to happen at a local museum for your covid cautious community:

1. Reach out and ask! As a bonus, if you can, add a little social pressure by mentioning other museums that you've heard of doing this recently.
