Ok. The part where the space ship goes backwards - Andor mist have taken it from this movie.

If this movie is supposed to take place in like 2010 - could a gulf war era F-18 pilot possibly be able to fly one? Do we assume the president kept up on upgrades in the 20 years between the battles?

Why do they use a tactical nuke on the mothership, so they won’t be destroyed if they are nearby? The ship is a quarter of the size of the moon. Would think you need something much larger.

Basically the entire foreign side of the movie is just middle of the road generic stereotyping.

The computer virus thing is actually the most unrealistic part of this. Movie magic! Just using load some software somehow.

Ok - the First Lady would not just be left there to die from “internal bleeding” if they had actual medical facilities. So either there are no doctors there or it is just obviously a narrative device.

Another movie where pilots have cool call signs (Eagle?). Top Gun really messed up our understanding of call signs.

The graphics of the destruction of the cities doesent really hold up, but the technical work on the miniatures was impressive.

Accurately shows the state of the grass in the mall. Often not great!

CIA head is played as such an incredible jerk. May be one of the most annoying parts of the movie.
