B/c I will not ask anything of any community to which I do not myself contribute.

In my particular practice, namely Heathenry, reciprocity is an integral principle. By gifting that water, I am engaging the UU community in a gifting cycle.

I brought a vial of water from Lake Ontario, collected by my spouse as a gift from the lake several years ago. It carries happy memories of cherished places. This was my gift to the congregation.

This week's UU service was the Water Ceremony. As a Pagan testing the UU waters (pun intended), this was very much up my alley. 💦
