We’re writing to inform you about an upcoming change to Amazon Lists. Starting March 25, 2026, we will remove the option to restrict purchases from third-party sellers for list items. When this change takes effect, gift purchasers will be able to purchase items sold by third-party sellers from your lists and your delivery address will be shared with the seller for fulfillment. This change will provide gift purchasers with access to a wider selection of items when shopping from your lists. Important note: When gifts are purchased from your shared or public lists, Amazon needs to provide your shipping address to sellers and delivery partners to fulfill these orders. During the delivery process, your address may become visible to gift purchasers through delivery updates and tracking information. To help protect your privacy, we recommend using a PO Box or non-residential address for any list you share with public audiences.

In a month, Amazon will stop letting you hide your delivery address from people who buy you items from your wish lists. I got this email today.

This is going to enable stalking and targeted harassment of a lot of vulnerable people who’ve relied on the privacy of wish list donations.

I think this is a leucistic dark-eyed junco. It’s been hanging around my backyard all season with a flock of standard-color juncos. These photos are from December 21 and February 22.

During his first term, I imagined that we could sideline him by moving him into an ongoing reality-show environment where everyone treats him like the president while someone else runs the country. Abracadabra, they took it to the next level (of Hell) and made the reality show the actual government.

I was determined to *play through Wordle,* to do the puzzle every day until the solution dictionary was used up. Not in it to play the game forever, especially when I have to boost the NYT’s web metrics by doing it.

I still have a downloaded copy of Josh Wardle’s original code. Maybe I finish that.

The New York Times has started recycling Wordle puzzles. Today’s answer was already a used word (the fifth solution ever, from before the Times bought it). They didn’t even go through the full original solution dictionary — even excluding words that the editors reasonably removed. I’m done. Finally.

Every day I am more convinced that they are collapsing
