This looks like an Emmerdale new cast member announcement created by a previous-generation LLM.

Objectivity, impartiality and balance are all *different things*, and the lazy tendency to treat them as synonyms, and to use partisan balance alone as a proxy for the others, is the root cause of a vast amount of nonsense.

Sky News just had Kelvin Mackenzie on, former editor of The Sun, one of the people at the centre of probably the most disgraceful front page in newspaper history, complaining about BBC journalists not being objective and 'fake news'. Astonishing. ~AA

I’d like to see the BBC turn the tables and spend weeks hounding the newspapers over everything they get wrong. Let’s have the Today programme calling for editors of newspapers to be sacked every time they are forced to print a correction.

Huh? How do you do a "balancing" program when one candidate did an insurgency trying to overturn the election and the other...didn't?

Would Prescott have been satisfied with an hour of people telling BBC journalists why they didn't try and stoke a riot to overturn Trump's second win?

A: Taught my kids how socialism works. Let them trick or treat while I stayed home. Then took all their candy. Socialism 101.

B: The socialism part is where the community came together and fed your kids for free. The capitalism part is where you made them do all the work and stole from them.

We keep being told that the
perpetrators of the Huntingdon
abomination are "British-born". OK.
So were the killers at Woolwich
barracks, Southport, Tavistock Square,
Westminster Bridge, Manchester
arena, London Bridge etc etc.
If you insist on denying that this has
anything to do with immigration policy,
I'm afraid you are not arguing in good
faith.

The BBC has consistently platformed Matt Goodwin because of his racist views and the veneer of respectability brought by his past life as an academic.

Now its quite possible that they are in every sense British - but he did not give us their names"

Mr Habib quite obviously considers Axel Rudakbana less British than Ian Huntley or Ian Brady.

So does Mr Habib consider himself more British than Mr Yusuf - but less British than Mr Sunak?

Matt Goodwin’s stance on migration is pretty much indistinguishable from that of the BNP in the past 1990s and not a million miles from that of the NF in the 1970s.

The National Front used to do this in their newspapers in the 1970s. Don’t see the difference between them and a lot of the British right today.

Minority representation on TV causes outrage

There has been widespread support for prominent Reform MP
Sarah Pochin after she complained about the over-representation of minorities on television.
Said one angry viewer, "She's right. Every time you turn on the telly there's another Reform MP being interviewed by Laura Kuenssberg."
She added, "I respect their way of life and their strange customs, but Reform MPs comprise only 0.7 percent of the House of Commons. Yet Nigel Farage is on Question Time more than Fiona Bruce."
"I'm not prejudiced. Some of my best friends are swivel-eyed loons, but enough is enough.
There are too many people with angry red faces on television.”

This is beyond grotesque. Another young journalism who treats the lives of minorities as a game. I know plenty of people who still hang out with this guy – I can't respect that as a decision when he's publicly gloating about further stigmatising disabled people.
