When Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark were assassinated by Vance Boelter in June, it barely made a ripple in the media. Trump refused to acknowledge the Hortmans' funeral; he went golfing on the day of the service, instead.

But the death of a right-wing influencer? OMG!!

I would bet that Putin gave the recommendation, but Trump gave the order. (Or whoever is actually piloting his deteriorating brain.)

Assassination isn't the only form of political violence.

I suspect Trump/MAGA Admin ordered Charlie Kirk’s assassination because Kirk split from Trump over refusal to release the Epstein files. They chose to martyr him for their cause instead of risking him dividing their base. It was a professional hit.

i find this notion that public spending is illegitimate bizarre as a matter of economics but totally legible as a statement of moral economy. and as per any strict system of morality, the punishment is part of the appeal. they are punishing the american people for believing in the public good.
