Agents in Key Largo, Florida ripped this woman wearing medical scrubs out of her car as she screamed she is a US citizen. Agents cuffed her and put her in one of their cars.

As OP and others have pointed out with recent Waymo rollout in Minneapolis, the jobs factor shouldn't be ignored here, and some autonomous vehicle companies have been more forthcoming than others with safety data.

Recently talked with a DC friend re: my hatred of car ownership and driving. She shared that her experience in a Waymo felt far safer than a traditional rideshare. Interesting to see data digging into this more.
