Made a lot of progress on thistle dragon this week!

I did absolutely prioritize my stitching direction to get directly to that face, yes. 😆

I've been working on bats! I got a better magnifier (that doesn't give me headaches) and have been able to make progress again

I know right? It almost looks like watercolors right now

This week I've been mostly hyperfocused on my thistle dragon!

This whole series is so good!!

You're really testing my resolve on No New Starts in January with this one 😭

So when everyone started praising my willpower and hard work, even though I changed literally nothing about my lifestyle beyond following basic post-surgery instructions, it made me so angry. And it's so hard to explain being angry about praise.

This really resonates with me - thank you! I had bariatric surgery 8 years ago because it was the only thing I could figure out that would help with my PCOS symptoms - particularly my digestive hormones being so out of whack that I was literally ALWAYS hungry and nothing made it stop.

It's been a long week already but I got some work done on Bi Beetle!

This fabric is so pretty too! It's Da Vinci from PTP and has these amber streaks running through it. I'm thinking of doing a bunch of bug stitches on it to make a set!
