Almost done Silksong. I tried going for 100 percent and the game is just far too obnoxious to attempt. I really despise some of the level design and bosses in this game. The game has such a hard-on for flying enemies/projectiles and combat arenas.

Silksong is honestly pretty disappointing so far. I love the exploration but the endless combat arenas, annoying flying enemies, bosses that do 2 whole hits of damage, and enemies spawning constantly during fights drains any fun from the game.

Playing Split Fiction with a friend and wow this game is disappointing. The side stories are fun but the main levels have really annoying puzzles and the settings being generic sci-fi and fantasy is lame. The writing is just atrocious too. Huge step down from It Takes Two so far.

Expedition 33 platinum. Great story and characters, fun combat, and an intriguing world to explore. The combat becomes pretty easy to break later on but honestly I feel the super mega boss requires it. The one thing I didn’t like as much as most people was the soundtrack.

Man I just can’t get the timing of parries in Expedition 33. I’ve often resorted to dodging instead which has far less strict timing. Really hope this doesn’t bite me in the ass later in the game. Still love the combat though, so many cool synergies between characters.

Expedition 33 is great so far. It’s the most engrossed I’ve been with a story since Baldur’s Gate 3. The prologue is just fantastic at getting you interested and the writing is great and super emotional. Combat is a lot of fun, getting better at the parry’s but it’s been tough adjusting.

Direct was pretty underwhelming for me the more I’ve thought about it. The console and games are way too expensive and the only exclusive game I really want to play is Donkey Kong. I’m dying to play Metroid but I can just get that on the original Switch.

Monster Hunter Wilds plat. My first for the series. Nice that the crowns weren’t a crazy grind this time. 8/10 for me. The game is far too easy, too focused on story, and the monster selection wasn’t great. Still had fun overall though as the combat is still aces.

I was actively not prepared for how truly evil some of this shit would be. Just the vilest kind of online rhetoric now being used as official positions. Incapable of shame or empathy or anything human, reveling in the sadism of it. These are the most disgusting times I've ever lived through.

Not only is this factually incorrect, it’s extremely worrying for the future of the franchise. Seeing this and being disappointed with Wilds sucks. I fear MH may not be for me anymore if this is the direction they want to head in.

The wound system can be fun but it also contributes to the game’s lack of difficulty. It’s far too easy to get monsters into a loop of constantly being knocked down. The monster selection in general is pretty lacking too with 3 boring ape type monsters and guardian variants of existing ones.

I’m 60 hours into Monster Hunter Wilds and safely say it’s disappointing. I’ve already perfected my build and the Artian Weapon system makes for a really lame endgame. Makes the monster weapons completely useless as well. The game is far too easy with only Gore Magala posing any kind of threat.

This is such a fucking bummer. I adored THPS4 as a kid and the career mode was a big part of it. Completely changing how it works is so lame and ruins what makes it interesting. The announcement was hype and now I have no interest in this at all.

Now I’m really loving MH Wilds now that I’ve gotten to High Rank. I really love how investigations work and this time crown monsters aren’t a pain in the ass. Love the Binoculars and it’s always exciting spotting a crown monster and being sable to save it as an investigation.

Really enjoying Monster Hunter so far but the focus on story, cutscenes and walking/talking sections is just awful.
Monster Hunter Rise corrected this from World and to see it come back and even more prevalent is disappointing. People don’t play these games for story!!
