The worst is when people ask for a piece and after you make it for them, they never offer to pay for it. I guess they think it’s a hobby and you pay for all the materials, time and postage out of the goodness of your heart.

Most people have no idea of how much work goes into artwork. From initial conception to creating a prototype (or several) to work out the bugs. The process of execution to final product can be very lengthy and artists generally don’t get paid for the time involved in making a product.

This is so spot on. They know uneducated Americans can’t grasp complex problems and need to be told what to think. The ones who call critical thinkers, sheep, are the ones incapable of critical thought.
