I agree, and I will reach out to them, as I did when asking for them to vote no, and tell them I appreciate them. This is a big win.

It's so hard as a jaded trans woman to thank people for not stripping the rights we've already fought for, but a good deed is a good deed.

Every so often something will hit me, and I have to stop what I'm doing an sob because I had to leave my home, friends and family, and move 2000 miles away just to be able to freely and safely live as myself.

If trans women are supposed to dominate women's sports, tell me how I, who used to bench 225 lbs in highschool, just lost an arm wrestling match to my cis wife, who doesn't strength train her upper body? Competitive advantage my ass!

Despite how they'll frame this, it warms my heart. As a trans girl that was recruited to run track and triple jump at D2 and D3 schools before I transitioned, I always wished I could've jumped as myself. We continue to shine against their backdrop of hate.
