Growing up, I always looked down on Pete Seeger because I looked down on the old hippies who listened to him.

But I”m listening to him this morning for the first time, and dear gawd he is a badass!

Maybe we should start referring to fascism as *the* fascism, to make it obvious it’s contained, unusual, and time bound — like it’s something in the yard that’s past time to be thrown away.
