apparently the repo was still set to private, but it's public now

This is useful for when you have data that needs to be efficiently accessed on both the native (jobs) and managed side of things

Useful for refactoring, and because managed arrays are faster in managed code

Created a repository for a Unity data structure I created at Briganti, where you can have a managed array whose data can also be used as a native array without needing to ever copy data

There simply won't be enough working age adults for China to keep the economy going, it's going to be ugly

By 2030 for every 2 persons working, 1 is a retiree
By 2050 for every person working there are 2 retirees
The fastest demographic collapse ever.
And this is already locked in, you can't produce adults in factories.. And people are having fewer and fewer babies b/c pressure from their jobs

I mean that before people were thinking if we have economic ties and make Russia a lot of money, then Russia would never wage war against us because they would have so much too lose

And it's not unlikely the Chinese would do the same ..

They said the same thing about Russia & Putin..
The thing is that Authoritarian regimes look at the world very differently..
China's economic domination will be shortlived though, with its demographic implosion and all ..
.. and that puts the pressure on them to act now, while they still can 😕

I'm increasingly worried about china though.. their public comments about supporting russia makes me feel they're starting to make moves that could lead us to ww3 if we're not careful

Russia has failed to secure their skies and failed at air superiority too. And finally for every Ukrainian soldier that dies, 12 Russian soldiers die.
Russia is getting weaker and weaker while Ukraine is getting stronger..
Bombing Ukranian cities just strengthens their resolve with no military gain

I'm not worried about Russia, it's just a matter of time before everything collapses for them .. their economy is on its last legs & they've made moves that set them up for hyper inflation ..
they don't have tanks in reserve anymore, they've basically ran out of artillery barrels etc etc

Anyone here have some experience with running unity game builds (or any executable really) on steamdeck desktop using a smb shared windows folder?
I can't run directly from the shared folder atm, and copying the folder takes a looong time for some reason :-/

I don't usually use my onboard wifi of my pc, but now I needed it for something and it didn't work
after hours of cursing at the machine I find a comment online that I need to unplug my pc & press the off button for 10 seconds, then plug back in.
It actually worked
