I always find it interesting how the story changes when a lawyer gets to court. They can say anything they want outside of court without accountability but the rules are vastly different in court where you can get seriously penalized for lying.

Screening guidelines must be based on population health research and data. The guidelines also indicate screenings *can* be done over those ages, but based on data we have, we cannot say for sure that routine screening is appropriate. Hence the need for good public health research.

As a family doctor who does paps very often-yep. We didn't really *need* to be doing pap smears on all women annually, which often led to to painful and anxiety provoking procedures with often benign results. More isn't always better.
