It's almost like Hegseth has no idea of the significance of Arlington. Nah, that's pretty basic knowledge for someone who went to Princeton and Harvard, and a student of not only history, but military history.

There are some really cool spots in that area (believe me, I thought about it 25 years ago!) The beer business is in a weird place right now, so probably not something coming soon. Things are cyclical, and that neighborhood is definitely something someone should consider.

Been a minute since I lived there (37th and Garfield), but my gut is it missed the window because of 3.2 license zoning. 36th and Nicollet bar (I think it was called Casey's or something similar) was a 3.2 joint. When Pat's Tap moved in, that changed.

I asked Dave Boquist once how he got to play lead guitar in Son Volt. He said "Jay told me he liked how I played." Interesting to note Jay still played lead on Chickamauga

I wonder how the brewers that are mad feel about their IPAs having higher ratings than Orval (3.68), DuPont (3.68) Westmalle Dubbel (3.69) Spezial U (3.69), etc

I was in Montgomery, MN today for Kolacky Days. A couple of weeks ago, I was in Gibbon, MN for Fun Fest. To all my friends in the metro area: go to some of these small town festivals. They are everywhere, and always entertaining. Great day trips from where ever you live.

The @mplscargobikelibrary.comโs mission is to help remove barriers to biking.
Access to an e cargo bike is an important barrier to solve for (which we do via free 1 week rentals) but thereโs ALSO:
-finding safe routes
-learning how the bike works
-theft prevention
-experience & confidence

Why are so many Minnesota breweries closing? Hereโs a six-pack of reasons.
From tariffs to THC, the local craft beer scene is facing challenges.
The excise tax part of this article is misleading. In MN, you get a tax credit of $4.60 for the first 25k Bbls if you produce less than 250k Bbls. So breweries less than 25k Bbls pay less state excise tax in MN than WI. www.startribune.com/minnesota-br...
