Sometimes I strategically block left-lane traffic and signal to the right lane traffic that I'm letting them move over for the on-ramp traffic. Truckers in particular will flash at me in thanks or wave as I ride past.

Why are people in general so dumb, dangerous, and disappointing these days?

Same thing on the freeway: people passing at on-ramps so that folks in the right lane cannot move over to allow on-ramp traffic to merge. There is a yield sign ON THE FREEWAY, not the ramp. And yet, every time, there is an idiot passing in the left lane, pacing the right lane vehicle. /5

I see folks leaving cars at the gas pump all the damn time to go inside and shop/pee/whatever. MOVE your DAMN CAR, people! Other people need to use the pump. MOVE to the parking area!
I'm just frustrated that people seem so situationally unaware of every f'ing thing farther than 2 inches away. /4

I mean, I'm behind her, there is a line of folks behind me. We ALL have our wallets/cards out. I'm getting three things and I'm ready to tap and flee w my purchases. I realize this is a small town, I realize older folks lived in slower times, but honestly.... What the hell. /3

You KNOW that there is a financial transaction involved here. Why the hell are you so startled to find out you now have to pay for that cart full of groceries? Why the hell are you not ready with at least wallet in hand? Explain to me the thought process (or lack thereof) here. /2

The old lady in front of me in the checkout waits until cashier has rung up everything in her cart & handed over all the bags to her, THEN finally opens her purse, digs out her wallet, and pulls out her card. I'm mystified by this. /1
