27.04.2025 03:21 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0As a future healthcare provider, I will continue to promote healthy habits and have a holistic approach to patient care. 27.04.2025 03:03 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This is a great article! Especially for collage students who are approaching finals week. When I am stressed and studying I tend to revert to salty snacks that aren't very nutritious. However, I will look back at this article! Thanks!
17.04.2025 18:49 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Hi Julia! I do the same! However, sometimes I don't eat the most nutritious snack. Fruit is a good idea. I enjoy frozen fruitππ«
17.04.2025 18:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0During finals I eat quicker meals. For breakfast a quick meal I do, that is nutritious, is a yogurt cup with fruit. I can eat this on the go and it's delicious! I always look at the back of the yogurt cups to make sure that it has the least amount of ingredients! @beh353.bsky.social #beh353
17.04.2025 18:43 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I enjoyed reading this article. Many loved ones I know have high cholesterol. This article is important because many people dealing with high cholesterol don't know the foods they should and shouldn't be eating. Thanks!
11.04.2025 20:33 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Hi Angelina! This article is super helpful! It's so important that kids in school districts are provided with healthy foods and physical activity throughout the day. As it helps with child development and well being. Your source is reputable and easy to read. Thanks!

I love hummus! It has many nutritional benefits. It can help with heart health, digestive health, and even weight management. "The Rainbow Hummus Experience" is a great way to give people ideas of different types of hummus to add into their diets! @beh353.bsky.social #beh353
06.04.2025 15:03 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Hi Zorely! I agree, weight loss journeys can be emotional. It's hard for people to loose weight and keep it off. They go through many battles with themself. As upcoming healthcare professional we should learn now the importance of being empathetic with our patients. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353
06.04.2025 14:57 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Tom talks about how embarrassed he felt about his weight. He mentioned how a doctor made him feel ashamed and he didn't go to the doctors for awhile after that. As healthcare workers we shouldn't judge any of our patients. We should have empathy and be a helpful resource. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353
06.04.2025 14:52 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Hi Skylar! Childhood obesity being directly linked to poverty is something that stuck with me, too. Many people can't afford healthy food or healthcare because it is expensive. We need to consider these things. Thanks for your thoughts!
29.03.2025 19:41 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I didn't know that childhood obesity is directly linked to poverty. Fat shaming is horrible and leads to depression, anxiety, and self-destructive behavior. It is bullying. We should be supporting people and properly educating on nutrition instead of tearing them down. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353
29.03.2025 19:11 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0I am a big spinach fan. I enjoy adding it to my eggs and smoothies. I love this article because I enjoy adding healthy foods, like spinach, into my everyday meals. This article helps to give more ideas! @beh353.bsky.social #beh353
29.03.2025 17:58 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I love a savory snack like potato chips. Finding this healthy alternative for one of my favorite snacks is perfect! I enjoy finding healthy recipe alternatives for junk food. My body feels better after and I crave less. Crunchy kale chips with salt are a favorite of mine! @beh353.bsky.social #beh353
23.03.2025 23:14 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Hi Yulianis! I agree with you here. I struggle with lack of time to prepare healthy meals, too. I'm always studying at school and when I don't pack a lunch I will buy quick unhealthy food. Thanks for your thoughts! @beh353.bsky.social #beh353
23.03.2025 23:06 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The barrier I can relate to is how much cheaper unhealthy food is compared to healthy food. As a college student who isn't working I don't have the money to buy healthy groceries all the time. I am guilty of sometimes buying the cheaper/less healthy quick food option! @beh353.bsky.social #beh353
23.03.2025 23:01 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 1I love chia seeds! I love to add them to my smoothies and yogurt. I did know that chia seeds have high fiber that helps with digestive health. This article is very helpful and reassuring because I didn't know the multiple other benefits chia seeds have. Thanks! #beh353 @beh353.bsky.social
16.03.2025 13:39 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Hi Skylar! I also have low Vitamin D, especially around this time when we are in the thick of school and can't get outside. I also take a Vitamin D supplement. Vitamin D can also play a role in mood regulation and help improve mood! Thanks for your thoughts! #beh353 @beh353.bsky.social
16.03.2025 13:33 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I take a women's multi vitamin. I learned from the lecture that it can be used to help address nutritional gaps and that people will just take it to take it. However, they are expensive and do they really help? There are potential risks and a lack of strong evidence. #beh353 @beh353.bsky.social
16.03.2025 13:28 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I've heard many great things about the Mediterranean diet and its benefits. It's interesting to know that it specifically reduces risks of different types of cancers! Thanks!

28.02.2025 21:52 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The popular press article I found is a NY Times article about how dinner should be your smallest meal. It was very insightful, easy to understand, and short. It was written by Alice Callahan who has a Ph.D in nutrition. It also has supporting info from doctors! #beh353 @beh353.bsky.social
28.02.2025 21:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Hi! Wow I never new this about mangos that's very interesting! I've never really been a mango eater, however, I should add them to my diet. 23.02.2025 13:15 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Hey Skylar! I am guilty of trying a juice cleanse once. Maybe I did something wrong, however, I found no benefit. I agree it's definitely not a long term option as they lack essential nutrients that everyone needs in their diet! #beh253 @beh353.bsky.social
23.02.2025 13:08 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The fad diet I selected is the cabbage soup diet. It involves eating mostly cabbage soup and other limited foods for a week. Many people criticize this diet because the weight loss is mostly water not fat and it's not a long term weight loss option! π² #beh253 @beh353.bsky.social
23.02.2025 13:05 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Hi! I love bananas especially right in the morning as they are so nutrient rich and give me a little bit of an energy boost. It is good to know they help with mood too! I add them to my yogurt bowlsπ @beh353.bsky.social #beh353
15.02.2025 15:07 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Hi Angelina! I love sandwiches and I also will try to swap out items to make them more nutrient dense! I have been doing veggie and humus wraps and they are SO GOOD. I also use avocado with my tuna instead of mayo and it tastes just as good! @beh353.bsky.social #beh353
15.02.2025 15:01 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0For breakfast I love eating yogurt bowls and cereal. To make these two meals more nutrient dense I always will add a variety of fruit. I will also add chia seeds, hemp hearts, granola and peanut butter to my yogurt! These add fiber, vitamins, and more to my meals. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353
