Update: my doctor says it’s not true vertigo, which makes sense. After several tests, nobody knows what’s wrong with me, but I’m starting to adapt enough to life with mild motion sickness that I can walk, shower, and drive safely.

Well, I took a pill for dizziness yesterday, and I plan to take another one later. I just messaged my doctor and then had some chicken soup. I've been getting rest and hydrating and trying some home remedies, but I'm not sure what else to do.

All weekend I assumed New York was wobbly because of the subways, but it turns out I’ve just had vertigo this whole time.

At the same time though, putting off passions again and again is a bummer. I’m keeping recordings I’ve scheduled for the next few months right where they are for now, but it’s still a shame how much I have to hold myself back.

I just imagine how Gen X’ers must have been raised if, by the time they were in preschool, they already took for granted that the adults were always the arbiters of truth and their peers were just delusional.

I guess I’m going to have to watch this cartoon today. (Never seen it!)

I should do a mini-season on cartoons that employ celebrity personas. After ‘Slick Hare’ and ‘Birth of a Notion’, no one will be ready for this cartoon’s cameo.

Of course, caring about other people for their own sake is the important thing. I just think a lot of us ND folks who aren’t LGBTQ+ might sometimes feel that their struggles have nothing to do with us, and it feels like it’s worth highlighting that that’s never been true.

If they’re screwed, we’re screwed, but if they thrive, we stand a chance.
