You're going to have to do all these sanity checks on whatever that AI spits out too, though, and you won't know what the rationale was behind any of its 'choices', because there isn't one.

Well sure, but I read it as assuming the code is already attached to the light, otherwise the prompt doesn't make a lot of sense anyway. And yes, that's a horribly simplified example, especially since there's nothing about how often it runs.

Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.
