10.10.2025 10:07 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Itβs amazing how after 200+ years we all just missed the part of the constitution that clearly states Republican presidents are kings. I personally feel stupid.
07.10.2025 14:39 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This rhetoric is now completely ubiquitous across the Republican Party but yet Iβm supposed to apologize and feel bad about a Clinton quote from a decade ago that was taken out of context.. and thatβs supposedly the savvy politics knower position

28.09.2025 21:11 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0An interesting time to be doing this when all the recent headlines are about them quietly rehiring thousands of people because stuff was breaking

Uhh they became Donald Trump bootlickers precisely because they were Ayn Rand lovers..
He just reads books!

07.09.2025 00:23 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It reminds me of when Kelsey Piper wrote a bizarre thread defending James Damore and describing his firing as a βformative experienceβ. If for some reason these events are that big a deal for you then youβve got some deeper issues that need to be unpacked.

02.09.2025 22:50 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Many people would like to see less polarization of mundane issues but I think thatβs backwards β if we try hard enough a successful liberal campaign against drinking raw sewage or bathing in nuclear waste could lead to the opposite becoming official government policy and thereβs something to that
28.08.2025 16:10 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Itβs also that they want to make it illegal for them to feel bad about themselves.
I always felt like people missed that COVID wasnβt anger over lockdowns or about βscoldsβ β it was about a desire for people to not have to feel bad about choices they made.
Just when I was feeling pretty confident knowing the original one smh
27.08.2025 20:02 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yep. If you encountered this in everyday life youβd naturally do everything possible to avoid it and yet somehow it being on the Internet changes the calculus for them.. for reasons that make absolutely no sense

22.08.2025 13:31 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Any time spent arguing about actual crime rates, etc in DC is a stupid waste of time that totally misdiagnoses the problem.
It's also a consequence of people staying on twitter where everyone is trying to out right wing each other and they end up missing the forest for the trees.
There's no reason to establish tough on crime bona fides. It's irrelevant to what's happening.
Trump would do this if there were zero murders in DC. It has nothing to do with crime. The end game for this stunt is to increase disorder and crime and use that to implement further crackdowns.
Itβs funny that the 2012 team used so many outfielders, as Adam played all 162 games in CF, but left field was a disaster that year and then Nick got hurt

16.08.2025 14:12 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Btw they would rightly freak out if a person tried to suggest that the economy was bad because three people they knew recently lost jobs.
Thatβs why we have data about trends, etc to put stories into context. But it also means that your anecdotes are likely meaningless.
Itβs amusing to a certain type of person anecdotes regarding crime supersede the need for actual data.
Hereβs a fun anecdote I grew up in the middle of the woods in NEPA and a few properties down my neighbor brutally murdered two people trying to break into his house.
We have only one option as I see it. We must get to the nice round number of 100 by allowing our 50 biggest cities the option to become states.
11.08.2025 22:14 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I didnβt say that. Iβve read his work for years and I donβt believe that. But if you care about progressives taking the ideas of abundance seriously than this was a massive unforced error and it pisses me off because it makes everything harder.
