I mostly found it funny that I had so many Facebook birthday messages from like “oh this person I met at summer camp” and “my uncle who I only hear from when he’s wishing me a happy birthday on Facebook.”

No longer full time but prior to game dev I was a social media coordinator for 14 NCAA fan sites. And I sold children’s shoes.

As a developer I find this argument very silly, and have started just saying “I have shown my game at the Smithsonian Museum of American Art. Therefore games are art.” Which is lazy but so is the initial conversation.

Trad wife content is like “I yearn for a baby on the hip and a job of maintaining a cottage garden” and like nah, you yearn for a life free of the yoke of capitalism and think giving up your rights will get you there. It won’t.
