This photo from the Perseverance rover captured in early March, may be my favorite Mars image from this year.

It shows Mars' smaller moon Deimos over the hills of the Nili Planum region in the dark skies before dawn. 🔭

On the plus side the execution of the Xenomorph is really the only thing I didn't like, and it's really not that bad - the ferocity and speed of it makes up for it imo

True, maybe it was just a clunky design. The side of the head bothers me a little too, it just looks like molded or pressed plastic as opposed to actual tubes and sinew like I'm used to. While we're at it, I swear you can see the arms wrinkle and bunch up when it moves sometimes...

Had the same reaction to it, my theory is that they were dead set on using practical effects as much as possible, and to get the creepy "lip-raising to expose teeth" to work on a practical mask/helmet they had to make the dome not extend down as far is it would normally, so the "lip" is too big

Oh snap I might have seen that - maybe? In central Indiana, walking the dogs and heard a very distinct loud propeller driven aircraft, looked up but only caught a glance of a twin engine plane, couldn’t make it out. Trying to think of the time, was either 11am-12pm eastern or 6:30pm
