Hi @schumer.senate.gov and @kirstengillibrand.bsky.social! If you vote for this horrible deal, I will spend the next 4 years making sure you are both primaried and retired from the US Senate.

10.11.2025 00:08 — 👍 400 🔁 87 💬 6 📌 8So Democrats get:
1. A CR that will prevent the GOP from facing the wrath of Americans for a shutdown over the holidays
2. A coupon for one (1) meaningless ACA vote that will fail
3. An end to the illegal RIF/SNAP moves that are already before the courts
Those all seem like wins for the GOP.
"The bottom line: After a weekend of frequent phone calls among centrist senators, Democrats appeared ready to claim victory and end the shutdown. "What they've been saying for a month is 'We won't negotiate with you at all,'" Coons told us. "That's clearly a position they've moved away from." The gist: A handful of Democrats will supply some eight votes for a new short-term CR in exchange for a promised vote on the ACA tax credits."
This is pathetic - to give in over "a promised vote" - but this is what they were always going to do.
"A handful of Democrats will supply some eight votes for a new short-term CR in exchange for a promised vote on the ACA tax credits."
They are gonna trust the GOP.🤡

The person who should be called to answer for it is Secy Kristi Noem. When a woman who loves the camera as much as Noem is nowhere to be seen for 10 days it’s b/c she’s hiding out. Media should be all over this.
