Friendly reminder that using the old Minnesota state flag is a racist dog whistle nowadays. Also, I’m pretty sure that the people who do fly the old flag had any clue what it looked like until the early designs for the current flag were released.

Minnesotans: The MN National Guard is on standby and distinguishable by high-visibility reflective vests. This is how Guard members are identified vs federal agents, who do not wear these vests. Knowing the difference matters for public safety.
