Am I becoming jaded, or am I correct in thinking the past couple of years have featured largely horrendous and entirely forgettable Super Bowl ads?

One glimpse at how Americana has changed over time is via past Super Bowl ads. They’re a reflection of what the typical consumer (which, for the Super Bowl, is basically “any person in the U.S.”) finds important at that specific time.

Of course, I find marketing fascinating, so YMMV!
